One of the unique elements of Camp Curly is its flexible schedule. All the various events from meal times to Bible studies give the campers an experience that they can learn from. Below is a simple schedule that will help you to see the basic elements of a typical day at Camp Curly.

Sunday
3:00 p.m. Check-in 4:00 p.m. Setup Camp Site 5:00 p.m. Dinner 6:00 p.m. Group Icebreaker 7:00 p.m. Snack & Free time 7:30 p.m. Evening Meeting 8:30 p.m. Evening Activity Monday - Friday 7:00 a.m. Rise & Shine / Devotions / Breakfast Prep 8:00 a.m. Breakfast 8:30 a.m. Clean up & Cabin Devotions 9:00 a.m. Morning Activities (Examples: group challenge elements, mountain hikes, mountain biking, nature identification, or rock climbing) 12:00 p.m. Lunch 1:00 p.m. Afternoon Bible Study 1:00 p.m. Afternoon Activities (Examples: waterslide, zip line, indoor climbing wall, games, outdoor skills, or some of the morning activities) 5:00 p.m. Dinner 6:00 p.m. Camp Site Activity (different activities that utilize the Adventure Camp site and the surrounding forest.) 7:30 p.m. Evening Meeting Saturday 7:00 a.m. Rise & Shine / Pack Up / Breakfast Prep 8:00 a.m. Breakfast 9:00 a.m. Campers go home Of course this schedule is adapted to meet the needs of the camper's age during each specific week of camp. Other activities may include day trips to Shawnee State park, fish hatchery, a trip to Wolf Rock, MD to hike and canoe and whitewater trips for the older grades. |
