On Curly Mountain 
[simple: easy to do or understand] We want life to be simple. Void of any problems that we can’t solve. We want the warm sunny days of relaxing, reading a good book, enjoying a leisurely walk, or talking with friends. We want simple, clear-cut, black & white. Well, that isn’t Adventure Camp at New Life Bible Camp! Up here, we make things hard. [complicated: difficult to solve or understand] For good reason! Hard things stretch us. Difficult times cause us to pray. Challenges make us need our friends and tentmates! God is complicated! He’s “Far Out”, and a mystery. That’s what makes God so amazing. During our DIGGIN’ time (Digging Into God’s Gospel In Nature) we will investigate who God is and how that should affect our lives. Join us at Adventure Camp this summer where life is complicated living outside, but the rewards are great; where God is so big, but we will learn that He loves you personally and so intensely; and where dirt is OK to wear on your shirt!
Grades 6-7 The challenges start here! During this week of camp you will take the first steps in learning how to live, survive, and thrive in an outdoor environment. The staff will lead you in learning survival skills, about the nature around you, and giving you basic outdoor experiences in hiking, climbing, and backpacking. During the week there will be plenty of outdoor fun too, with swimming, Frisbee, night games and grabbing a creek critter. Not all the fun will be at the Adventure Camp site, there will be day trips to surrounding state parks and local wildlife habitats. Daily DIGGIN’ will open your eyes to how big God is and how we should we should relate to Him. Grades 8-9 Now is the time to put on your hiking boats or pick up your paddle and let’s go out and find some adventure. Pick your experience; the trail or the river. Either one will teach you some valuable survival and outdoor skills. Each one will challenge you to see what you can do and that you also need to lean on one another. In addition to the overnight trips, each week will end with an exciting whitewater trip down the Yough River at Ohiopyle State Park. Throughout the week you will be met with adventure as you search for a geocache or climb a gigantic rock. The DIGGIN’ time will also challenge you to allow God to dictate how you live back home. BEYOND Grades 10-12 The Adventure Camp experience culminates with a week designed for the older teenager. Each of these weeks has a specific outdoor flavor. One’s wet, the other is dirty! During July 11-17 you can spend the week on or in water; canoeing, rafting, swimming or skiing. The opposite is true for July 18-24. During this week you’ll stay on land; biking, hiking, and climbing. Each of these weeks is designed to take you BEYOND the ordinary experience and challenge you. DIGGIN’ will focus on how you are putting into practice all that you know about God.  Wilderness Water Week There will be a canoe trip, whitewater rafting on the Yough river and water skiing. During the week, we will be sure to find some unique outdoor places
to splash around in and enjoy God’s creation. Far Out Dirt Days – There will be a hike trip, mountain biking, rock climbing and a number of ropes challenges. You’ll be sure to get a little dirt on you during
the week as we enjoy exploring the outdoors and challenges that will be sure to stretch you.
