If you have seen the sign in front of the Main Lodge, you will notice the slogan, “Where God’s Word is Central”. Since 1972, New Life Bible Camp has attempted to create a fun, exciting camp environment for children of all ages, while teaching the truth of God’s Word. This summer is no different, as we participate in fun and crazy camp games, take a quiet hike on a mountain near or far, or slide down the waterslide. We will also teach lessons from the life of Jesus. We hope that you will join us this summer on an adventure discovering relevant truth in God’s Word.
What Will Campers Do?
TEEN CAMP: This age group will enjoy two expeditions during the week. Early in the week, we will spend the day at Shawnee State Park. Later in the week, we will load up the bus and take everyone to Ohiopyle State Park where there are plenty of options available. White Water Rafting on the Lower Youghiogheny is an option for those who are up to the challenge. Others have the option of swimming in the refreshing waters of the river, going down the natural waterslide, or just chilling at one of the ice cream shops in town. Just like the other weeks, we will help campers discover the truth of the Holy Spirit through daily Cabin Bible Studies, praise, worship times and conversations on the Word of God.
JR. HIGH CAMP: This age group will enjoy all the traditional camp games and activities, plus an expedition to the local Billabong (Shawnee Lake), for a day of swimming, outdoor games, canoeing, and a cookout at one of the pavilions. It is a great week filled with old friendships, new friendships, games, activities, and life changing Cabin Bible Studies on who the Holy Spirit is and how he desires us to SOAR with Him. Don’t miss out on this exciting week of camp.
JUNIOR CAMP: This age group will have loads of fun as they participate in a wide variety of games and camp activities, such as Capture the Ball, Persecution, Nature Hikes, and a wild ride down our waterslide. We will keep them jumping around like kangaroos. Every afternoon, each camper will take part in the Cabin Bible Study on the Holy Spirit led by their cabin counselor. Each day will begin with a time of devotions and each day will end with a time of worship, a message from God’s Word provided by one of the staff, and a special time of prayer and devotions led by the counselors in the cabins.
