- NEW LIFE OUTDOOR SCHOOL (NewLOS) -
Outdoor Learning NewLOS Purpose: It is our desire to educate students using God’s creation, existing on the camp’s property, and to give students awareness and knowledge about these natural elements.

Romans 1:20 states that "For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:

    Cost: $10/student, $5/adult meal, $35/family maximum (no charge for any child 4 or younger)
    Time: 9:00 am - 4:00 pm (rain or shine, please dress appropriately)

    Note: There are facilities available for parents and other siblings not involved with the outdoor classes.

Songwriting Thursday, February 23, 2012 - Songwriting   (All Grades)
Have you ever wondered what it took for your favorite songs to be written? And how to put the right words into place? Andy Maples will be teaching us how to write a song, using worship music as an example.


Deaf Studies Thursday, March 15, 2012 - Maple Syrup   (Grades K-8)
Once again, we will be having our annual Homeschool Maple Syrup Day. Learn how God created this sweet stuff that we enjoy on our pancakes. Also see how maple syrup is processed and enjoy a sample from New Life's very own trees.


Honey Bees Thursday, April 26, 2012 - Honey Bees   (Grades K-8)
We will be learning about honey bees today. We will learn how to take care of them and all about the final product - Honey!



Map & Compass Thursday, May 15, 2012 - Map & Compass   (Grades 6-12)
We will be focusing on map & compass reading today. There will be plenty of learning and "hands on" practice as we practice using the compass to find various things here on the camp property.

Activity choices include Zipwire, Climbing Wall, Archery and Fishing. Our classes will be informative and fun. We hope to inspire curiosity and an appreciation of God's wonderful creation.
