SEX! This his a hot topic among today's teens, but few are talking about it within the guidelines of what God's Word says about it. New Life will be hosting our annual Teen Retreat on November 6-8, 2009 for teens in grades 8-12. The keynote speaker will be Brian Ford. Brian will be challenging the teens to dig deeper into scripture to reframe sex in light of God's design and purpose.

Come out this weekend to be challenged and to have a great time with other teens doing your favorite camp activities. There will be great food, snacks and fellowship. Invite a friend along for a great weekend.

Begin: Friday, November 6, 7:00 (Check-in)
End: Sunday, November 8, following 12:00 Lunch


Breakout Sessions
There will also be special "breakout" workshops during the wekend. This is an opportunity for you to attend a workshop dealing with a particular interest. These workshops will follow our theme and will cover a number of different topics. The session so far that we have are:

  1. Rapture Ready: Todd Donaldson will be the presenter for this Breakout Session. Todd will be looking at what the Bible says about Christ's imminent return and coming as a thief in the night and making sure we are ready and telling those around us to be ready.


  2. Why God Matters: Andy Maples will be presenting and discussing the reality of God and why He is important in our lives.


  3. Brazil 2010: Chris Sirbaugh will be presenting information about the 2010 mission trip to Brazil. Interested students are encouraged to attend this session.
Free-Time Options
Many of your favorite camp activities will be available: zipwire, clibming wall, ultimate frisbee, the gym, game room, and much more.

Bus Transportation Options
New Life will be providing bus transportation from Frederick, MD. There is a fee of $10.00/person for this option (Roundtrip)! If you are interested in this, please contact the camp, so that arrangements can be made.
