(1) I was able to complete my jury duty in Bedford PA without missing much time away from the Foot of Ten week of camp.

(2) We are happy to report that we had 18 campers come to Christ through the Summer Camp “Mission Logos” program.

(3) I was able to play guitar often this summer for the morning services at Calvary Bible Church, which I had not been able to do in a long time.

(4) Calvary Bible Church provided Sunday meals for the staff from camp who would attend with me on Sunday mornings which was a huge blessing as it gave me time to be with staff members that I don’t normally get time to spend with.

(5) Big one! Megan and Zach Weaver welcomed their second child towards the end of our summer camp program, Addison Alayne Weaver!

(6) We are making great strides on getting the house built for the Weavers. They hope to move in around December if not sooner. I do most of the cooking for the volunteers, and it is a great time for food and fellowship with the folks that invest their time into New Life Bible Camp.

(7) Our main volunteer, Elvin Martin, had a medical scare earlier this month and had to spend some time in the hospital in Cumberland so they could monitor his blood pressure for a few days. He is back now, working on the house and seems to be feeling better.

(8) Thanks to you for reading this and for praying for the ministries of New Life Bible Camp. As you can see in the information listed about, September will be a very busy week for us. God bless!

Ever Only Jesus,

Andy Maples
