Dad & Daughter Retreat
April 1-3, 2022
Weaving Faith and Life
Lydia of Thyatira (Acts 16:14) will be our case study for the weekend. She was very active in the business community and she went from a God-fearer to a true believer.
Adventure, Play and Memories
Join us for a wonderful weekend that will give you ample time to spend with your daughter. A fun adventure is planned for Rocky Gap, where the options will be rock climbing, canoeing, biking and hiking. In addition, there will be teaching sessions, creative games, special worship times, and free time in the game room and gym.
Begin: April 1, Friday, 6:00 PM with dinner
End: April 3, Sunday, 1:00 PM following lunch

Cost & Info
The price for the retreat is $60/person ($35 each additional child, with a family max of $155). If you register by March 25 pay only $55/person! The price includes two nights lodging, six meals and snacks. A confirmation letter will be mailed out after receiving your registration form. This letter will contain packing instructions and further details on the options for this weekend.
The Main Lodge has dormitory style rooms and is primarily designed for youth groups. We will do our best to keep your family together, but there will also be areas designated for only daughters and other for dads. This would just be for sleeping —all other activities will be programmed to keep your family together.
Planning Your Retreat
Directions to New Life can be found following the About > Directions link on the menu above. In the case of an emergency or accident call or text the camp office at (678) 842-3325. Please notify us at the beginning of the retreat if there are any medical conditions we need to be aware of.
Food is an important item at camp. You and your child may be involved in this activity also. If you or your child has food allergies or other special considerations, please let us know on your registration so we can make adjustments to your menu.
Medications should be in the original container marked with the name, dosage information and correct time intervals. Medications can be kept and administered by your dad.
The Snack Shop sells a variety of items from keepsakes to snacks. T-shirts and Hats will be available for purchase during the weekend. These items range from $9.00 to $15.00 (snacks & sodas are 50¢ - $1.25).
A packing list for the weekend will be coming to your email inbox. Depending on the weekend activities and weather, the packing list changes a little. Be sure to include in your luggage a backpack which you can carry your water bottle, food, personal items and clothes during off-site trips. This backpack shouldn't be a large one, remember, you'll have to carry it. But it should be about the size of the ones used for schoolbooks.
There is no cell phone service available on the New Life Bible Camp property. Access to the camp's Wifi will be given to dad only, so have your family back home use the camp number (678) 842-3325 to contact you.
